Scott Siegel Faces Steroid ChargesThe 34-year old actor, Scott Siegel was charged of possessing and distributing steroids, plus a charge of assaulting law officers. When Siegel was arrested by the police officers, he allegedly jump in his car and led the officers in a chase. However, according to Siegel’s counsel, his client ran away because he feared the officers.

If Scott Siegel will be found guilty of the charges, he will spend 45 years in jail.

An actor from the film “The Wrestler” has been charged with possessing and distributing steroids and assaulting law enforcement officers in a New York City suburb.

Scott Siegel was indicted on the charges on Tuesday. If convicted, he faces up to 45 years in prison.

The case stems from Feb. 18 when federal drug agents and police tried to take him into custody on the steroid charges. Siegel jumped in the car and led police on a chase through Eastchester.

Siegel’s lawyer, Barry Levin, says his client acted out of fear. The actor is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in federal court in White Plains.

The 34-year-old actor played a steroids dealer in the critically acclaimed movie.

Possession, use and trade of steroids and other controlled substance without the necessary documents such as prescription are legally penalized.
